Getting Started with Navi
Welcome to Navi — the fastest way to add bookmarks and hyperlinks to your court-ready PDF filings. This guide walks you through the basics so you can start processing documents in minutes.
Create Your Account
Head to the Navi dashboard and sign up with your email address. After confirming your email, you’ll land on your workspace where you can upload and manage documents.
Your First Document
Once you’re signed in:
- Click Upload Document from the dashboard
- Select a PDF file from your computer (up to 200 MB)
- Navi will analyze the document and detect its structure automatically
The analysis typically takes just a few seconds, even for large filings.
Understanding the Dashboard
Your dashboard shows all of your uploaded documents along with their processing status. Each document card displays:
- File name and upload date
- Page count and detected bookmark count
- Status — whether the document is queued, processing, or ready for download
Applying Bookmarks
After analysis is complete, Navi presents a list of detected headings and section titles. You can:
- Review and edit individual bookmark labels
- Adjust the hierarchy (nesting levels) of bookmarks
- Add or remove bookmarks manually
- Preview the final bookmark tree before applying
When you’re satisfied, click Apply Bookmarks to generate your processed PDF.
Downloading Your File
Processed files are available for download immediately. You’ll also receive a link by email. Download links remain active for 7 days after processing.
